The BMW 1 series cut range is part of the reputation of the new BMW 1 series on the market. It boosted its sales in France thanks to the comfort and aesthetics of the 1 series.
A remarkable range in several versions
The BMW 1 series range is available in six finishes and eleven motors. It is the first compact car in the BMW range to be introduced in 2004. It is mainly designed to compete with the Audi A3 by equipping the BMW 1 series 1 with Premium segment. Several versions are on sale from 2004 to date while making some improvements on design, performance and above all comfort.
The different versions of BMW Series 1
The BMW 1 series was launched in 2004, starting with the E87 with its 5 doors and 4 cylinders. Then in 2005, the manufacturer developed a new 6-cylinder version. In 2007, another 3-door E81 variant was launched. The latter has been modified to 5 doors and is followed by the BMW 1 series coupe E82 and the convertible version E88. These 4 BMW 1 series car versions have an identical design except that the 2 doors do not open for the E81.
The 1 Series Coupe version of BMW
In 2011, BMW built a new BMW 1 series BMW in the M1 coupe version. It is the smallest car in BMW's 1 series with a 6-cylinder engine and two Mitsubishi turbochargers. Between 2011 and 2012, the manufacturer produced more than 6000 cars of this type. The specificities are in its bodywork and 19-inch wheels.
The second generation of the BMW 1 Series
The F20 is the second generation of the BMW range. It is first designed in 5 doors then BMW took advantage of its advantages to make the BMW series 1 coupé and cabriolet. This new BMW 1 series is equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. In this series 1 generation, several finishes are available. In addition, a feeling of lightness and intensity is always observed with the F20.
